Menopause Friendly Club

Aberdeen AAC has registered with Scottish Athletics as a Menopause Friendly club. This means that we will endeavour to:

  • Educate ourselves, as an on-going activity, on menopause, its symptoms, effects and the resultant challenges that may be faced by athletes and other club members, such as coaches, officials and volunteers.
  • Make our training sessions supportive, welcoming and adaptable for those experiencing menopause symptoms.
  • Use our social media pages to share information about athletics and the menopause in order to help our club members feel informed, empowered and confident in continuing with their athletic journey, whilst also normalising the topic of menopause.

Your club contact for the Menopause Friendly campaign is Club Manager, Catriona Fulton, who can be contacted at clubmanager@aberdeenaac.co.uk
