Membership

Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club has two main categories of annual membership.  Those who train with and compete for the club hold ordinary memberships (£75 for 2024).  Associate members are those who neither train nor compete, but can still hold an office within the club, vote at the annual general meeting, and receive member discounts from club partners (£20).  There is also a family membership option (£200).  Aberdeen AAAC offers a reduction to club membership fees to both qualified adult and child club members; find further details about Access AAAC memberships here.

Membership subscriptions are due in January of each year.  New members joining later in the year may pay a prorated fee.

To provide the high quality coaching for which AAAC is known, space within a coaching group must be assured prior to membership.  Please complete a contact enquiry to determine availability.

While AAAC has a partnership with Aberdeen Sports Village where the club hosts training sessions, members must still pay to use their facilities.  However, AAAC members are entitled to a discounted ASV Lifestyle Membership at an exclusive club rate.  AAAC members should be sure to show their AAAC membership card to obtain this special rate.  Members may also pay the regular per-visit fee if preferred.  Please visit aberdeensportsvillage.com for the latest information on their fees or enquire in person.

Membership to Scottish Athletics is required to compete in certain events.  Click here for details.
