Fundraising

Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club is Scottish Charitable Incorporated Orgnaisation and has significant running costs including insurance, bus and facility hire, as well as part-time officer salaries.  The club also is committed to providing for coach and official education, ultimately increasing the quality and breadth of the training and competition the club provides.  As the club is primarily member-funded, we often have a need to seek financial support elsewhere.  While the club’s leaders continue to build partnerships and gain access to grant funding to that end, there are ways individuals may help as well.

Friends of Aberdeen AAC 100 Club
The 100 Club is currently run by longtime club associate Sheila Smart and costs £12 per year.  Download the form here.

Gift Aid
As a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club may claim Gift Aid on certain contributions, that means the club can boost your donation by 25p for every £1 you donate.  To do so, we would need a completed Gift Aid declaration form for single donations or for past and future donations.

The club can also claim Gift Aid on a portion of membership fees.  Members who are able should tick “yes” for the Gift Aid question and add the appropriate details on their membership registration form to allow this.
