About

Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club is a Scottish Athletics-accredited, Community Amateur Sports Club founded in 1952.  AAAC’s approximately 400 athletes, aged 9 to 70-plus, train and compete in track and field events, cross country, hill, and road running.  Over the years, many have participated and earned medals in multiple Scottish, British, European, and world championships as well as the Commonwealth Games.

AAAC hosts training sessions and competitions year-round at Aberdeen Sports Village, providing complete indoor and outdoor training facilities for track and field and everything necessary for cross-training.  Club training nights are held on Mondays and Wednesdays, 17:30 – 20:00.
