This year I’m running a London Marathon with a difference. I will be along side my dear friend, Ali who was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour just over a year ago. I am supporting her to raise funds for Brain Research Charity, Meningitis Now and Get Kids Going Charity.
Although her future is uncertain to say the least, she is fighting hard, and running is one of her main coping strategies. She is also planning various running events, like London, to keep living for. She says that running “makes me feel alive.”
